A living fantasy world

Raise. Explore. Be part of Dragginz.

A vast, hand-crafted world where players adopt and raise their own Dragginz, craft and trade, breed creatures, and help shape the land itself — a world that truly belongs to the people who play it.

The world of Dragginz

A world built by the people who live in it

Dragginz is a massive, player-built fantasy world. You'll adopt and raise your own Dragginz, craft items, trade with other players, breed creatures, and explore dangerous, beautiful lands full of glowing caverns and hidden stories.

And the world grows through its community — entire regions, quests, creatures and ecosystems can be created collaboratively. It's a place that's never quite finished, because the players keep making it.

Where we are now

Building the world's foundations first

A world this ambitious — one players genuinely own and shape — needs technology that simply didn't exist when we started. So before the game, we're building the foundations it stands on.

Our focus today is Toko, the technology that powers Dragginz' creatures, items and systems, alongside the open-source tools beneath it. Dragginz itself comes once those foundations are solid.

The short version of the tech: Dragginz is built to live on-chain, so the world and everything in it can persist and be owned by players rather than a single company. When the Internet Computer launched in 2021, it became the first platform that could realistically host a whole world this way.

What we're building

The pieces that make Dragginz possible

To build the game, we first had to build the tools it needs. These are live and open-source — and Toko is the one that brings the creatures to life.

Toko

The engine of the game world

Toko brings Dragginz to life. The creatures, spells, items, equipment, breeding and crafting all need to live, evolve and interact like real things in the world — not sit still as static collectibles. Toko is the platform that makes that possible, and the reason it comes first.

Why Toko comes first

Every creature, spell and item runs on it

A Dragginz isn't a picture — it grows, changes, and carries its own history. Spells, equipment, breeding and crafting all need to behave like living parts of the world.

Toko is the technology that makes creatures and items work that way. It's the heartbeat of the whole game.

Dragginz can't exist without it — so Toko comes first.

The road to Dragginz

Each step brings the world closer

Rather than building everything at once, we're creating the world layer by layer — proving each system before we add the next.

Our focus right now

  1. Launch Toko.
  2. Keep growing our open-source toolset.
  3. Bring more of the game's creatures and systems to life.
  4. Prove it all works at the scale a world needs.

The gameplay it unlocks

Each new layer brings more of the game online — step by step toward the full world:

The vision

A world that can't be taken from its players

We've never wanted to make just another game. We want to build a world that belongs to the people who play it — where creativity comes before monetisation, and the community helps govern and grow the place they love.

Dragginz remains the goal. We're simply building the foundations first.
